Iranian and Iraqi officials have signed an agreement to further expand bilateral media relations.
Iranian and Iraqi officials signed three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) during a meeting in the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad on Thursday.
The agreements were finalized by Secretary for the Government High Council for Dissemination of Information Alireza Moezi and a group of Iraqi media officials.
The MoUs call for exchange of media products, sharing of each others' capabilities, and establishment of a representative office.
During their stay in Iraq, the Iranian delegation visited various Iraqi TV channels and met with a group of Iraqi media persons as well as the Iraqi prime minister, president, vice president and a number of Iraqi religious and cultural persons.
